- FLAVOUR BURST is a specially protected flavouring that has been developed to give candy floss made from Candy Chemistry floss sugar its incredible taste!
- Making candy floss involves high temperatures, therefore the majority of any normal liquid flavours assed to the sugar evaporates immediately. This may create a nice aroma when making candy floss but can result in a disappointing taste experience!
- Here at Candy Chemistry we have over 40 years of technical experience in the Research and Development of food flavourings. We have solved this problem by taking regular liquid food flavourings and essential oils, and turning them into microscopic solid capsules by the special process of microencapsulation.
- The capsules are filled with aromatic natural flavouring which is protected from the heat of the candy floss process by the food grade capsule wall. We named these capsules FLAVOUR BURST!
- The tiny FLAVOUR BURST capsules, less than 20 microns in diameter (1/50th of a millimetre), are not affected by the heat of candy floss making and cling to the fluffy candy floss strands with all the flavour still locked inside.
- Only when you take a bite into your fine, fluffy floss does the capsule dissolve giving a burst of authentic fresh and natural flavour unlike any regular candy floss.
- FLAVOUR BURST is made entirely from plant-based materials so is vegan suitable..
