OUR MISSION…
Our aim here at Candy Chemistry is to develop and manufacture great tasting and innovative confectionery products using our taste enhancing FLAVOUR BURST technology, delivering a fantastic flavour experience.
Our team has many years of experience within the food and flavourings industry, so we were perfectly placed to achieve this goal, being the first all-natural flavoured candy floss sugar manufacturer in the UK.
All of our products are designed, manufactured and packaged in food approved premises to the highest standards.
Our Story
Candy Chemistry was formed in the summer of 2023 by Dan and Pete to overcome the challenge of producing Candy Floss with a strong and authentic flavour.
The key to this was developing a special powdered flavouring system that mixes well with sugar and resists the intense heat of the candy floss process, without evaporating and losing the taste.
Being flavour technologists, we applied our skill and knowledge to developing FLAVOUR BURST, a delivery system that microencapsulates the natural aromas inside a heat-resistant shell.
FLAVOUR BURST survives the heat of the candy floss spinner so all the taste remains in the final product.
We continue to develop new products including flavoured sugar for candy floss vending machines, a range of gourmet chocolate coated popcorn and multiple chilli products.
